Who are we?

The group takes disabled, sick and elderly on holidays across Europe with the use of specially built coaches called JUMBULANCES and a dedicated team of carers. The West Yorkshire Jumbulance Group is affiliated to The Jumbulance Trust, a registered Charity, No. 1090731.

After many years of taking pilgrimages to Lourdes, in 2003 we ventured into the holiday market with a holiday to Calafell, Spain. After the success of this holiday the group expressed a wish to go on another holiday. One of our disabled travellers, dependant on the Jumbulance for travel abroad, said that she loved going to Lourdes but felt that she had received her own special miracle as she had never imagined that she could go on holiday to Spain. Six years ago she could never have seen herself enjoying the luxury of a 4* hotel or sitting on the beach watching the world go by was it real or had she been to heaven and back? These are some of the things that so many of us take for granted.

Based on these and other similar comments we decided to continue taking holiday groups ever since. We take people from all over the region and also from around the UK, if you are interested in further information please get in touch.
